Our Vision

Our vision is to create a catalyzing space for interdisciplinary collaboration, knowledge & skill sharing, research exchange, & immersive exercises that will expand the impact of Creative Therapies for those in need —in Azerbaijan & around the region.

Creative Psychology spans a spectrum of modalities, including art therapy, music therapy, dance & movement therapy, drama therapy, poetry therapy, and beyond. Embraced globally for its profound impact on mental, emotional, and holistic well-being, this emerging field has expansive and significant applications in healthcare, education, and community development.

As the demand for creative therapeutic approaches steadily rises here in Azerbaijan, so does the need for interdisciplinary collaboration and strong training programs. The Creative Psychology Symposium offers a response to this imperative, providing a unique platform for academics, practitioners, & the public to come together and explore the intersection of art & science.
